Tania Conradie

DIRECTOR: SLM SKILL SOLUTIONS

20 years’ experience in the field and a passion for Skills Development has uniquely equipped Tania with an opportunity to de-mystify  and simplify the world of Skills Development for the organisations she works with. Tania has proven herself as an expert in the field of Skills Development and was instrumental in the establishing of a professional body for Skills Development Facilitators in South Africa as well as a founding Director of ASDSA (Association for Skills Development in South Africa).

Philip van der Berg

HEAD: GROUP LEGAL & OPERATIONAL

20 Years’ senior commercial management experience, having started his career at the Shoprite Checkers Group where he was instrumental in their expansion of its retail portfolio in Africa. Philip joined Uvest Property Group in 2008 as Operational Director responsible for the overall management of the group’s residential portfolios with Old Mutual. He joined SLM Developments in 2019.

Phelia Loubser

GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER

She joined Shoprite Checkers in 2008 in various roles of financial management. Before joining SLM Developments, she spent 6 years as financial manager at Newbridge Property Services gaining valuable property-related experience.

John Coetzee

HEAD: PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

John brings more than 30 years of property development and building experience to the team of project managers that report to him. John specialises in large-scale mega housing estates and was involved in the set-up and execution of some of the largest developments in the Western Cape, including:

  • Burgundy Estate – 5800 units
  • Sitari country Estate – 3150 units
  • Buh-Rein Estate – 3500 units
  • Lethabong Estate – 5800 units

Shamiel Salie

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Shamiel brings over 15 years of construction and project management experience to the business. Having started his career in construction in the United Kingdom, he then returned to South Africa and was involved in the construction of various stadiums for the 2010 World Cup, followed by the successful planning, implementation and completion of numerous subsidised housing projects with the Western Cape Department of Human Settlements.

Completed and current projects include:

  • 5 development projects in the United Kingdom (apartments)
  • Cape Town Stadium and Athlone Stadium
  • 26 subsidised housing projects
  • 5 bonded housing developments
  • Lethabong mixed-use development of 5880 units (Gauteng Human Settlements)
